The Challenge
To address the constraints of an old quarry within an industrial site identified for residential expansion.
The Outcome
To make the quarry the focal point of the development and turn it into a dramatic public park. The café and community facility to overlook the floodable landscape, delivering storm water attenuation as part of the Sustainable Urban Drainage Scheme for the site.
