Following decades of neglect and decay Aberglasney was sold to the Aberglasney Restoration Trust. We were entrusted to develop masterplan proposals that would rescue this derelict, historic property and gardens.
Aberglasney House now boasts one of the finest public gardens in Wales. The gardens have been an inspiration to poets since 1477. Our masterplan, inspired by the picturesque descriptions of 17th-century Aberglasney poet John Dyer, detailed the framework around which the complex 10-acre gardens now flourish. Today it is the public’s turn to enjoy the rejuvenated formal gardens, pools, parapets, cloisters and arches.
